12-Week self-practice program for Introverts with zero to low experience in yoga


I believe that you can do handstands, headstands or backbends, but they won't mean anything unless you have the consistency. The biggest benefits of yoga come from nothing but being consistent.

And that is what the program will give you. You will be practicing four times a week for 12 weeks, and every week will challenge you enough so you can keep building and not so much that can get you injured. And that's why every single week has a different theme that will develop body awareness & keep you safe as you grow your Yoga practice.

"Just 6 months ago I was very frustrated about my situation I was suffering from an ischemic stroke and a heart valve replacement surgery the doctors told me it was a slim chance that il survive the surgery but the surgery was successful I’ve never been that close to death in my life. Then the doctor told me I would be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. After 3 long months of physical and occupational Therapy and a lot of determination I ended up leaving the hospital on a cane I refuse to leave in a wheelchair. The traumatic experience left me in a deep dark depression and had me suicidal.

One day I was on my way to a follow-up doctor's appointment and I took a Uber the driver asked me if I was ok and I told him my situation. He asked me have I ever tried yoga as a form of healing and I said to myself how could yoga help me. He told me what yoga was about breathing and everything else will follow. Anu told me he practiced yoga and it changed his life and he offered to give me a free session. Now I knew I couldn't do all the stretches cause of my left side weakness so we started off slow and focused on my breathing and Anu taught me a few breathing techniques and a few stretching exercises and the moment I set on that mat I became one with the universe all the stress from depression and anxiety started to slowly lift from my mind and body I start sleeping better and my mind became more at peace with each session now we practice yoga once a week and I continued to do my meditation on my own.

So far this journey has opened my eyes to a mental spirituality that keeps me wanting more. The things I’ve learned through meditation are better than any therapist or anti depressant pill ever offered Thank you Anu for saving me "

Practice descriptions:

  1. Deep Stretch Day: This day will focus on the deep and twisting yoga poses. At the end is the cooldown part, which is almost identical for all the days.
  2. Forward fold + Backbend Day: As the name suggests, this day will focus a little more on adding forward fold and back bending postures. This day is added on and after week 2.
  3. Salutation Day: This day will help you build stamina and endurance while at the same time improving your salutations which will be the foundation of your everyday practice.
  4. Restoration Day: This practice is very short, but an essential part of the practice. It is a 10 min calming practice that will help you restore. Also, this is a practice to keep in your back pocket and use it on the days you don't feel like practicing the entire sequence.

Hi, I’m Anu, a yogi from India.


I left my religion, country and engineering degree to share my love for yoga. I believe that a consistent yoga practice not only stretches our body but opens the mind as well. It gave me the courage to follow my heart and break the chains of self-limiting thoughts that prevented me from being my authentic self.
